LIFE IS MOVING FAST
We’re (not so) patiently waiting to meet with Malia’s epileptologist and neurologist to go over all the test results from the past few months. It’s been six years of appointments, tests, and more questions than answers—but now, we’re finally so close to getting the full picture and figuring out the next steps. And honestly? That’s huge. We can’t wait!
Family Time & Big Changes
Meanwhile, on the home front—our house has officially reached max capacity. The girls are getting bigger, and what once kind of worked just… doesn’t anymore. We’ve known for a while that we needed more space, but timing has never been our strong suit (hello, always a day late and a dollar short with the housing market). But now? We’re finally in a spot where making the jump feels possible—and really, if not now, then when?
So, we’ve started the slow and slightly chaotic process of getting our house ‘fixed up’ for the next family to enjoy. And let me tell you, nothing makes you realize how much random stuff you own until you start picturing it all in moving boxes. Eight years of everything is everywhere. It’s still early, and who knows where we’ll end up, but the idea of giving the kids their own space and having a home big enough to host holidays and family get-togethers? Yeah, that sounds pretty amazing.
Currently daydreaming about all of it… <3 <3
