Surgery Updates & Spring Break

We have had the surgery moved from 4.16 to 4.23( INSURANCE!!). It is only an extra week, but it’s the knowing that it’s another week of worry and waiting.

Spring break ended this Monday for the girls. I can’t say they were happy to go back to school, but we were ready for their little brains to be learning again.

This was the first time in about 5 years that I was not able to be at home with the girls during their spring break. It was bittersweet, and I may have cried a time or two. Nick ended up taking a day off work to take the girls out and about- They went to the driving range, went out for ice cream, and grabbed some Chick-fil-A (obviously their favorite in the entire world). The kids always love extra Dad time, and it made my heart happy.

We also got to have my Mom and Nick’s Mom pop in for a day to go spoil the kids while Nick and I were working. - I’d say the girls made out pretty well considering I wasn’t at home this year.

The week ended with a beautiful, warm, sunny day. SO I put the kids to work :)
